Fladgate, London

Right in the centre of Covent Garden are the new offices of fladgate, one of the leading law firms in England. The existing building was transformed completely both externally and internally by John Robertson architects. Our client Overbury PLC was responsible for the high specification interior fit out.

The interior was carefully designed throughout and ensures that Fladgate now have representative and flexible office spaces. Strähle delivered System 2000 solid office partitions with very high sound insulation, as well as double glazed partition elements towards the corridor.

In the conference area the fully flush structural glazing system 2300 was used together with 100 mm glazed doors. The highlight of the project is a newly developed sliding door with a Rwp 34 dB sound rating that was installed in 75 offices. This innovative door solution allows for the first time that a sliding door also achieves a significant sound insulation rating.
